The air conditioning had significant issues with functionality, leading to discomfort!!! The bathroom conditions were less than ideal, with an outdated design that could use a complete overhaul!!! Also, the noise disturbances from the street were quite disruptive!!!

The location is perfect, only a 10-minute walk to the city center. However, noise from the streets was disruptive.

Why it’s almost great (but not quite)

Perfectly located, I enjoyed the very rich breakfast spread, featuring marvelous cappuccinos and a delightful selection of Italian pastries.

But the worn carpets and outdated furniture detracted from an otherwise charming atmosphere.

the room had a good fridge and room safe. sounds from the busy road made it hard to sleep.

during my romantic trip, zanhotel really surprised me with its charming amenities and fantastic location just 10 minutes from the city center. the breakfast spread was rich with delightful pastries and great coffee. previously, i’ve been to bologna, but this stay truly exceeded my expectations.

one missing feature was reliable wifi.

The Zanhotel boasts an excellent location within a 12-minute walk from the train station and a mere 5 minutes to Piazza Maggiore. With a fantastic continental breakfast featuring a good selection, including gluten-free options, the staff showed great attentiveness, making the stay more enjoyable. The comfortable Double Room provided a relaxing retreat for unwinding after a busy day of meetings.

The location is perfect for exploring, with many restaurants just a short walk away, although my room could have used a little more upkeep.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, air conditioning, and a helpful 24-hour reception. On my first visit, the staff provided great tips about the town. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort. I'm coming back for a weekend.
